Bertha Ahenkan Boateng

Bertha Ahenkan Boateng holds a Bsc in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Qualifying Certificate in Law. She has worked as a litigation lawyer and also as a corporate lawyer. She works with Sage and Kush as a Litigation Lawyer and handles cases on enforcing women rights during divorce, land litigation and commercial disputes. She has also served on many Boards both local and international notable are the Silicon Valley of Ghana an offshoot of Silicon Valley in the USA set up by Dr, Thomas Mensah. She is currently the Head of Legal and Compliance of Amenfiman Rural Bank and the Managing Associate at Sage and Kush all in Ghana. She is assertive, diligent and self-motivated. She is a member of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA), a Rotary Member and an ardent Christian.

I have been influenced by a quote from Dr. James Kwagyir Aggrey who said that if you educate a woman, you educate a nation. This postulates that women are the nation builders. It means women have the in built drive to excel. Unfortunately women have been seen to be weak and this has made us second guess ourselves even when we put on equal footing with our male counterparts. I believe thata continuous sensitisation would instill in us the drive to excel as women lawyers.
