Biography
Divya Dwivedi is a Social Entrepreneur, Activist, and experienced Project Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organization management industry and equipped with degrees of B. Tech and MBA and currently practicing Law @SCI. She is skilled in Research and Development (R&D), Legal Research, Leadership, and Public Speaking. Divya is a strong program and project management professional with an LLB – Bachelor of Laws focused in Corporate Law, Tax Law/Taxation, and Intellectual Property Law from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Divya is passionate about working for society by building up an environment of Trust for a little over 13 years now through which she tries to make people aware about everything around them be it atmosphere, health, law, or any other aspect of life.
For women, getting to the top in any profession is a tough task. The same can be said about the legal profession as they have their task cut out for them if they want to excel in the field and come out on top. Getting support from people within the profession is not very easy as women have to prove their mettle at every step of the process. Inequality is a part and parcel of every profession, so even the legal profession has not been left untouched by it. And there is nothing more to blame than the patriarchy. However, things are slowly changing for the better as not only have many women been able to break the glass ceiling, but men have also been coming forward to give them the help they require by shedding off the patriarchal mindset.
