Biography
Managing partner of Wairimu Gathii Advocates LLP,. She is a pro bono lawyer with the Judiciary of Kenya, and Egerton University, Faculty of Law Legal Aid Project. Wairimu serves as the General Member Representative of Nakuru Chapter, Rift Valley Branch of the Law Society of Kenya, and a member of the Rift Valley Law Society Ladies forum.
The terrain for young female lawyers in establishing and running startups is never easy, especially for a young lawyer looking to take up a bulk of pro bono work. The Women in Law initiative provides a platform mentoring the younger members of the profession to believe that the sky has never been the limit, and to shoot for the stars.
