Biography
Gabriele Plickert is an Associate Professor in Sociology at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona California who studies the legal profession. She is specifically interested in the career trajectories of lawyers and the factors that impact the professional and personal satisfaction and wellbeing of women and men lawyers. She has conducted national and cross-cultural studies of lawyers to explore how context affects the legal professional lives of women and men.
