Biography
Julie Gottlieb is a coach, trainer and consultant who uses her legal experience and in-depth knowledge of the internal dynamics within law firms to empower clients to make the very most of their talents and opportunities. She has a broad and varied practice and on any given day could be working with a partner on business development, an associate returning from parental leave, or a participant on a social mobility programme looking to enter the profession. She works in the UK and internationally and enjoys working with women and others from underrepresented groups to achieve their dreams and navigate the challenges that inevitably form part of any successful and fulfilling career path.
I believe that a diverse and inclusive legal profession, where women and people from other underrepresented groups can thrive, is vital for serving justice in our society. I work extensively with women in the early stages of their career and with leaders looking to foster inclusion within their teams. I also work as the coach on a social mobility programme for a Magic Circle law firm in London, where many participants are women from underrrepresented groups. Equal opportunities, fairness and integrity are values that I personally hold dear and I am committed to helping talented women reach the top on their own terms, gain the power and freedom to lead and inspire others, and to develop their career in a way that makes them feel confident, authentic and valued. Some women have achieved this already and it is exciting for me to do what I can to support the great pipeline of female talent coming through.
