Katharina Mader, economist at the Chamber of Labour (Women’s Department) and at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Department of Economics), research on feminist and gender issues.

I am usually doing feminist economic research that focuses on topics that have been neglected in the field, such as gender gaps and care work, or on economic theories, which could be improved through better incorporation of gendered effects and interactions. Getting a glimpse of legal professions in particular at this conference can provide structural and sectoral specifics and certainly help improving the situation of women in legal professions but elsewhere too.
