Michaela Gindl

Michaela Gindl is co-head of the Unit for Equality, Gender and Diversity at Danube University Krems, University for Continuing Education, AT. She studied sociology at the University of Vienna and is an expert for equal opportunities and gender mainstreaming in higher education institutions. She is experienced in application-oriented research projects as well as in developing equal opportunity measures. She also has many years of experience as a workshop leader, moderator, and trainer for gender issues at universities, colleges of the applied sciences, and schools.

Engaging for equal opportunities – in any sphere of life and profession – has been a topic close to my heart since I was a teenager. Women are more than half the world, they are smart, well-educated and can do everything just as well as men, sometimes even better. I stand up for improving the situation of all women and therefore also women in law because this is simple an issue of justice!
