Sandra Konstatzky

Sandra Konstatzky is head of the Ombud for Equal Treatment, the equality body for combating discrimination and promoting equality. She was active in various functions, specialized in Gender equality law with focus on equal pay. Sandra helps shape the further development of equal treatment nationally and internationally. She has actively contributed to the development of the European network of equality bodies, EQUINET and is very active in a female legal association called “Die Juristinnen”.

It has always been my wish to combine law and justice. In my work at the Ombud for equal treatment, I have been able to encourage women to fight discrimination against them. This has always fulfilled me. Mutual female support is essential to have success in doing so and to move forward. The Women in Law initiative makes women in this field visible and gives confidence to be on the right track.
