Biography
Sarah Tarar is a CEO of a law college and a dispute resolution centre. The college was a dream project with the aim of providing a complete law school experience and a focus on diversity and inclusivity. She has not only provided access to legal clinics, dispute resolution, research and human rights centres for the youth but has also been a catalyst for change by providing an excellent example of how workplaces can be inclusive with a daycare facility and a flexible work routine for all.
I feel that without representation of women in the legal profession, we are missing out completely on the female experience and perspective. With an almost 50% female population, our legislators, judges, lawyers and workplaces still fail to provide women with an equal voice. Where the female voice is missing, there can be no real progress.
