Sophie Tesarik

Sophie Tesarik is a is a Legal Counsel at the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (“VIAC”). As a Legal Counsel her main responsibility is the administration of cases. She is passionate about investment arbitration and eager to support the next generation of practitioners, thus, she is responsible for VIACs involvement in the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court. In fact, she organised the first ever Vienna pre-moot in 2024.

Gender equality in law is crucial for a more inclusive and fair society. Initiatives like Women in Law are essential in this effort, providing invaluable support, networking, and advocacy to help break down barriers and thus fostering environments where women can thrive in the legal professions.
