Stefania Passera

Stefania, founder of Passera Design, is a legal design pioneer from Finland. She helps her clients creating user-friendly, clear, visual contracts and policies that work better for people and business. Stefania is an all-rounder, backing her design skills with a solid experience in academia. She is a co-author of the Legal Design Manifesto, a co-founder of the Legal Design Alliance, and a recipient of the Women of Legal Tech 2020 award.

I have always been an odd one out: an Italian female designer in Finland telling lawyers how to make their contracts better. I had no role models, and I could only make my own path as I progressed… and it wasn’t always easy! My wish is to inspire other women in finding their path, passion, and success in legal design, where female creativity, empathy, and perspective has the potential to break and remake law better!
