Track 4: ESG & SDGs | workshop
In this interactive workshop, participants will evaluate a hypothetical scenario involving a company facing a multifaceted ESG challenge. After breaking into groups, participants will discuss the scenario from the perspective of various stakeholders. Participants will identify the goals and interests of their stakeholder group and the relevant laws, regulations, and/or U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that may be leveraged or grappled with in pursuit of these goals and interests. No prior knowledge of ESG regulations/laws and SDGs is required – relevant material will be distributed and explained during the workshop. The workshop will also touch on the role of women in the legal profession as relates to ESG.
