Biography

Adriana Winkelmeier, University Assistant (prae doc) at the Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law, University of Vienna. Adriana delves into technology and media law topics, particularly in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, media law, and data protection. She earned her law degree (Mag. iur.) from the University of Vienna and Stockholm University, where she learned the significance international cooperation in law. One of her objectives is to delve into the potential opportunities that artificial intelligence offers for the future, while also understanding the need for responsible and rights-oriented regulations.

Women in Law serves as a valuable platform for women and their allies worldwide to connect and collaborate. Their dedication to addressing both longstanding challenges like gender equality alongside emerging topics like artificial intelligence is admirable.
