Alyssa M. Johnson

Alyssa M. Johnson is an American lawyer currently residing in Vienna, Austria. Alyssa has a decade of experience in private practice counseling clients on a wide range of matters, including in the areas of securities enforcement, anti-corruption investigations, and international arbitration. Alyssa has a passion for international human rights and for the rights of women and girls in particular. In recent years, she has taught a course on international women’s human rights at the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C.

Women today have many opportunities, thanks to the hard work – and the hard-earned gains – of preceding generations of women. Unfortunately, many of those gains are under attack today. Initiatives such as WIL unite us, elevate our voices, and give a name to the issues we commonly face.
