Angela Mudukuti

Angela Mudukuti is a Zimbabwean human rights lawyer, specialised in international criminal law and passionate about equality, and accountability for grave human rights violations. Angela has used her skills to promote and protect human rights for over 13 years including working at domestic and international level. She has worked for a number of organisations including the International Criminal Court, Open Society Foundations, Human Rights Watch, and the Southern Africa Litigation Centre.

Women continue to be unjustly denied access to opportunities, therefore demanding our rightful place at the table remains one of the most pressing needs of our time. As a woman of color from the global south, I am no stranger to discrimination and will continue to fight for, defend and advocate for women to be treated fairly. Supporting women in law will help women everywhere as we prioritise an intersectional approach to the protection and promotion of women’s rights in every sphere of life.
