Ann Collier

Ann Collier is an executive coach and business consultant with Sherwood PSF Consulting. Having qualified originally as a solicitor, Ann has spent most of her career supporting the development  of current and future female leaders within the legal profession, initially from within law firms as Head of Learning and Development and more recently as an independent coach and consultant supporting female lawyers navigating personal and professional transitions in their careers. Ann is passionate about helping women find their success through sustainable and fulfilling work lives.

For the legal profession to be able to serve the whole of society it needs to be representative of the society it serves. If women’s voices are not heard and women’s views not represented  ultimately the rights of women are at risk of being given a lesser priority. And as has been so graphically represented on a global scale during the pandemic, women often offer a different perspective and take a different approach to addressing a problem that could be overlooked if the wider perspective afforded by people with different views is not taken into account. It is crucially important that the views of women, as well as other under represented groups, are included equally in the development of the law and the legal profession in order to ensure that the law works for all.
