Axana Soltan J.D., LL.M., M.P.P.

Axana Soltan, J.D., LL.M., M.P.P., is an international human rights lawyer specializing in international criminal law, women’s rights, and accountability for atrocity crimes. A graduate of the University of Oxford and The George Washington University Law School, her work focuses on advancing the recognition of gender apartheid as a crime against humanity under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. Soltan was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 (2024), received the Justitia Award at the Palace of Justice in Vienna, Austria, and is a recipient of the U.S. Congressional Literacy Award, among numerous national and international honors.
