Mariella Rieder

Dr. Mariella Rieder is an Austrian lawyer specialized in the fields of artificial intelligence, data protection law, and the regulation of pioneering technologies. She works as a Senior Legal Counsel at Prewave GmbH, an Austrian company providing AI-driven software for supply-chain risk monitoring, sustainability and global resilience. Mariella Rieder has passed the Austrian Bar exam, worked for an international law firm, the European Commission, the Council of Europe as well as the Austrian Ministry of Justice.

Alongside her legal practice, Mariella Rieder is dedicated to advancing gender equality and advocating for the rights of women and girls, particularly in her role as Vice President of UN Women Austria.
