Praxedes Tororey, Commissioner Independent Policing Oversight Authority(IPOA), associates herself with the IPOA Motto of ‘Guarding Public Interest in Policing’; As a Lawyer and a Masters graduate in Women’s Law, uses her knowledge and experience of over 30 years in public service and volunteer community work to sensitise women and mentor children from marginalised communities on their rights; offers training and mentorship to young women lawyers throughout her career
