Sana Khurshid

Sana Khurshid, a Lawyer, Disability Activist who happens to be a quadriplegic wheel-chair user, has fundamentally changed the landscape of rights for persons with disabilities. She is amongst the leading campaigners for the rights of PWDs, and advocates for Disability inclusive policies. Sana has fundamentally changed the landscape of not only PwDs, but public interest causes altogether, and paved the way for activists across the board.

Every journey starts with a single step. It takes courage to take that first step. It’s a leap of faith, but when you do magic happens. Women are under-represented in the legal field. I would encourage more women to become lawyers as women are inherently programmed to selflessly fight for others and that is a big gift. Law enable us to help people in getting what is their right and that is quite a super power!
