Stefan Perner

Stefan Perner, Professor of Civil and Company Law, Head of the Institute for Civil and Civil Procedure Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Stefan specializes in Civil and Insurance Law. At WU, he is also member of the Equal Opportunities Committee.

Equality and equal treatment are core values for every lawyer. In my view, striving for equal opportunities for women should be an important topic for women and men in the same way. Due to my engagement for the Equal Opportunities Committee, I have gained insights into how equal treatment at universities works and where there is still potential for improvement.

A lawyer should always strive for equality. Only with equal opportunities, a society can improve as a whole.
