Sandra S. Yamate
Biography
Sandra Yamate is the Founder of the Institute for Inclusion in the Legal Profession. She has built a career advocating for greater inclusion of women and others. A mentor to countless lawyers in the U.S., she has broken glass ceilings and used her newfound platforms to advance others. She is the first Asian president of the National Association of Women Lawyers in its 125-year history and is spearheading the first collective advocacy effort by national affinity bars. She also produced a video history of Asian American women lawyers.
