Sara Carnegie
Biography
Sara is a practicing barrister with over 27 years of experience in criminal justice, public policy, and international sectors. After leaving chambers, she spent much of her career working for the government. She served as Director of Strategic Policy at the Crown Prosecution Service before joining the International Bar Association (IBA) in 2019. She currently heads the Legal Policy and Research Unit at the IBA, where she works across all committees and divisions to lead and support a wide range of projects.
